Fantastic Donald Ross course. Really important to stay under the hole, otherwise prepare to 3 putt! Greens were running reasonably today (~10). Lots of Ross touches: deep grass mound bunkers, crowned greens and interesting fairway shots. While it reads to be a short course from an overall yardage standpoint, it is a par 70 and every hole seems long. While the bunkers are deep, they are fantastic and relatively easy to get a lot of spin on the ball. Wonderful course if you are a strong player. Women's tees are set too far back in my opinion so my gal shot an 83 instead of under 80. Great course! Great bargain if you can find one at GolfNow: $35!

One of my favorites. I have played after a lot of rain and the course holds it very well, especially the fairways. This course is old, well kept, and feels like a country club. Greens are well protected so you can swing away from the tees but need to be accurate on approach. I will return many times to Ravisloe. Love it!
