To say that I disagree with the review of 6/6/08 would be a gross understatement. I will admit that I have never tried the driving range and can not comment on it.

However, I have played this course a number of times this year, and find it enjoyable every time I go. If you get there before 10:00 the green fee is uncommonly inexpensive. There is free coffee in the starters/cashiers/pro shop, if you desire. They have a punch card for frequent golfers where your 10th round is free. Yes you have to wade through some goose poop but you have to do that on any Chicagoland golf course, and Links's & Tees's isn't as bad as some of the other courses I've played on. The grass is always cut and the bunkers are usually raked. There is only 1 set of tees, White, and the course is 1161 yards. I have never counted the bunkers but they are there and some are easy and some aren't. Water comes into play on holes 2,5,6,&7. Hole 3 (an 82 yard par 3) has a peculiar hazard, in that on several occasions we have seen a Coyote either on, or just off the green when we teed of, however when we approached the green to putt it strolled into the woods. As far as the staff goes everyone I have had contact with, from the starter/cashier to the ground crew has always been friendly and polite, which is more than I can say for "frankocolumbo"

Also if you go by the information that is on the GolfLink web suite be advised that this course is a 9 hole, Par 27, 1161 yard course and the yardage listed is off on every hole, some by a little, some by a lot. The longest hole is 186 yards and the shortest is 82 yards
