Decent shape and a good price. Second hole will run off the hacks trying to play from the back tees. Par 3 - 230 carry over water.
Great course but the management group is a miserable bunch. Played there several times, even took guest there who actually pointed out the behavior. Nothing against anyone personally just need a happier guest oriented team. From Rick sitting behind the counter, from to starter to marshall all act as though they really hate being there and could really care less if you were there. Hope they don't treat guest at their house the way they treat golfers. Again, really great course just no customer service buy in AT ALL from the management group hestitate to say team, really sad.
Played May 2010. Course in very good shape considering our harsh winter. Greens were 9 of 10 condition wise. Speed about 10 on the stimp. Smooth and plush for this time of year. Fairways were 8 of 10 conditioning. A little thin in some areas but not bad at all. A nice course with friendly staff. Not overly difficult, except for the Par 3's, but a very good test from the tips at 6900 yds. Note: I play the par 3's up one tee, as they are very difficult, especially #16 at 249 yds. This could be the most difficult Par 3 in town considering the water left and the tree in front of the tee box almost forcing you to cut it with a driver. That said, a very good value for Tampa at $24 weekday PM.
