Just played this morning and the course is in great condition despite the lack of rain in the area the past 2 months. The greens are bouncy and fast but they're rolling true and so I liked the challenge. The fairways are a little fluffy for my taste as I tend to power through with big divots. My buddies and I (13 altogether) managed to play a mixed scramble but we weren't rushed even for a Sunday morning. It can get quite hot out on the course and there are only two water stations so be sure to stock up on your own bottles. Don't know if there is a cart girl out there or not.
Had lunch in the clubhouse. Okay pub grub. It seems to be in a strange state of half-open, half-disarray. Not quite sure what they are trying to do or if they've given up.
Finally, you'll be amused by the farm animals that are scattered about the course -- penned in of course. They even have loud peacocks that are quite chatty.
Worth the trip from Wakulla or Tallahassee. Good value for a weekend round. Give them a try!
