Pitiful attitude and service by the Pro-Shop staff at the championship course. After a misunderstanding over an event listed on the website, i requested a refund and got the worst attitude from the pro-shop employees you could imagine. Along with a slight "threat" that if he weren't at the course he'd "handle" things differently. As a scratch golfer i love a great golf course, but not at the expense of being treated like dirt. Guess this course doesn't need the tourism business. As owner and general manager of Heritage Golf Management and Heritage Construction in Tennessee, if any of my employees had treated a customer like this they'd be looking for a job! All businesses incur situations with customer's, I get it. But to disrespect and basically threaten is uncalled for, and since golf is SUPPOSED to be the gentleman's game, that just makes it even worse. So my suggestion is to pay a little more (or about the same if you play after 2PM) and go right down the street to the Hombre'. They have always treated me wonderfully, and the courses are always perfect, and I'm sure more challenging. I'll never enter the championship facility again. **NOTE: I did go to the Par 3 clubhouse when i arrived by mistake and that gentleman was wonderful. I may actually play the Par 3 course at night in the lights because of him. At least the entire facility isn't manned by adults with child like attitudes.

Played this course because it was across the street from my hotel. Showed up at 4 p.m. on a Monday, called 30 mins earlier for a tee time and played 18 w/rental clubs for super cheap. Played just after it rained, so the greens and fairways were very slow, but overall the course drained really well. Outstanding course for the money and challenging. I didn't bring my A game, but I definately will next time.
