FunChallenging Will play again!
You get the impression this is a cheap course to play (at least I did) but when you paid for rangeballs, course guide it is no longer a bargain! The course is not that well maintained. But I liked a lot of the tee shots, narrow and long. Par3's are looong, average 190 from blue tee's.
Played Hibiscus on a rainy Friday just a couple of weeks after Hurricane Irma ripped through the region. The course was beat up bad, but playable. They reportedly lost 100s of trees. The course gets a pass for maintenance on this day. The fact that is was even open at all gets an A+.Anyway, the layout is fine and the price is right. The greens were slow, but in good shape. For the price, this is a recommended play.
We played this course twice during the week of Dec.1 2013 and the greens were great. Course layout was fun to play and beautiful. Staff is very friendly and helpful, just a great value.
My wife and I played this course on October 23, 2011. It is in immaculate shape, and the greens are unbelieveable. The staff is very friendly. A true bargain, especially with lunch!!
I played this course a number of times in early 2010 and it was in great shape. It is not really difficult but it was a great outing and everyone enjoyed it. Based on some of the other reviews I would say the maintenance folks are doing a much better job now than in the past.
