Considering the time of year(dry season), the coarse was in good shape, scenic back nine. The reason for the low rating? Snobby. Verrry slow play (5hrs), tee times are only 4 minutes apart. Hit and wait 5 min., hit and sit, hit and sit. We had five players in my group a threesome followed by a twosome. We became a fivesome on the back nine, did NOT slow play for group behind us...never even on the tee when we were on the green, still, when we got into the clubhouse were questioned about our fivesome. Snobby.
Great golf course. Starts out as a traditional country club type layout but finishes totally different. Great value. Course was in pretty good shape. It plays longer than the yardage due to the elevation changes (yes even in Florida). I will play it again!
What great track. Playing for back tees provided a wonderful course. This course has a traditional feel vs the new tricked up courses. Front nine is a great way to start and the back nine just blew me away. Loved it and the people were great. Considering the dryness of the area the course was in good shape.
Played this course several times over a weeklong golf trip with some buddies. The front nine is nothing spectacular and the fairways are a bit rough. The back nine is much more scenic and very fun. The quarry holes are visually pleasing and very fun to play. We played for $22, which we thought was a very fair rate. The staff were friendly and helpful.
