Had the pleasure of traveling to the western section of Connecticut which can be quite hilly. First off, let me mention that the whole staff of workers were very cordial. From the head pro, to the starter, and especially the food & beverage staff. They were all there to please. The atmosphere is definitely blue blood, which made us feel like home. We are Red Sox fans, and sometimes when outsiders play golf closer to the New York area, we are vulnerable! The regulars hang around and enjoy themselves after they finish their round. The course is tree lined, so you need to be straight. The superintendant does a marvelous job on the tee boxes and greens, and after the winter the Northeast went through, he should be commended. Overall, I would say after playing your round, you would say you received your money's worth.

I traveled home to Connecticut last week and decided to play a round of golf at the East Mountain Golf Course. Since I now live in Virginia, it's been at least fifteen years since I played the course. To my surprise and delight, the course was in an excellent condition. The greens were in great shape and the fairways and tee boxes were also well maintained. I've played the course off and on for the last 45 years, and this is the best I have ever seen it. The Pro Shop and snack bar staff were pleasant and accommodating. Nice job everyone and thanks again for a enjoyable round of golf.

The course is in great shape and is a tremendous value for a municipal course. The greens were perfect and fairways are green and cut low. It appears as though a lot of trees have been removed from green and tee areas, resulting in the grass growing much better. The course has a great layout which I enjoyed very much. The staff at the course was gracious and very knowledgeable.
