We haven't been back in the area for 3 plus years and revisited the North course...the only positive I can say is the greens are the only areas that get any attention on this course. Otherwise it is in terrible condition. They advertise grass driving range....no old worn out mats....awful. The carts should be condemned. There certainly are a lot of better golf courses to spend your money on then here.WORST GOLF COURSE IN SD COUNTY.
Have seen lots of improvements and apparently new superintendant and management. Greens are fast and my poor dad missed a short put on 18 to shoot 100. Good times and will definitely be back.
I've played here multiple times, but not recently. If the greens are in good shape then it is a fun little course. But, the last time I played there it was in terrible shape with airated greens and dried out fairways and surrounding areas.
Stay away, have always been curious about this course and finally golfed it recently. Maintenance is lacking and the members are not very open to non-members golfing there, as was obvious by the comments overheard on the driving range and on the course. $75 is outrageous for this course.
