I play this course nearly every week. Talk about a bang for your buck.

Advantages: Great scenery next to ocean, cheap, comfortable difficulty for average to decent golfers, course conditions good enough, club pro gives great lessons.
Disadvantages: Noisy, next to airfield, closed access (need military hookup), concessions pricing a bit steep, plays short for the powerful swinger.

I can say the staff are very friendly, and I've never had a problem getting on the course unless theres a tournament. Most will say that the pace of play is hindered due to the relaxed green fees and schedule making, but for the money not too many courses offer what this course has, ocean side golfing!

Nice course that plays as two - the front 9 with several water hazards and the back 9 with views of the ocean and under the flight path of the Naval Air Station.

The best deal in San Diego hands down.

Great course with nice beach views from the back nine. Front nine is challenging with some water holes that can make you think twice about hitting your driver.
