The fairways and greens are super. Very smooth. Some have challenging slopes, but the course information details how to play the greens. This was my first time on Del Monte and I was under par for both nines until very late. Had a great day with 3 birdies and 32 putts overall.
Definitely a Pebble Beach owned course. OUTSTANDING on-going maintenence. Not too snooty in the old clubhouse especially after the locals have a snoot full. Having the course a little inland eliminates some of the wind effect. Fog is commonplace during some months but burns off quickly. Pro Shop folks are excellent.
