First time for me and my friends at El Dorado. We were the 3rd to the last group of the day and only were able to finish 9 holes do to a little log jam in front of us and that's it's still short days in February. The course is friendly and the grass is nice. The course is nice and if you read the review of Bobo B. then it's all summed up perfectly. We played on a SUPER windy day and still all really enjoyed it. We all are certainly coming back to El Dorado. :)

First time at this course. Nice grass range, flag markers to aim at. Putting green and small chipping area. Linda was super nice in the Pro Shop. Got us out on time on a Sun, made resv online. Great little 40$ course. Not sure what the full rate is, but for 40$ with a cart, that is fair price here. Not sure how much more I'd pay?
It plays from the back tees 6461 yards. Not a long course but the demand is on accuracy. If you are hitting the ball straight you will enjoy your round. Couple small water hazards in front of a few greens to make things interesting. Fairway bunkers come into play on almost every drive. This is not the place to go if you are a big hitter and hook or slice. At this muni you will not be playing out of another adjacent fairway. Instead, you will be playing errant tee shots from the long rough, behind trees. This course truly rewards the straight tee shots. Not too many holes you can error to the left or right. The carts do have GPS. I recommend playing the front distance to the greens as the greens are small and firm. I got greedy and played a couple back pin yardages which released over the green and trickled into trouble. That back yardage is truly the furthest you want to go no cushion back there. Play the front yardage or maybe middle as the greens are so tiny. You can walk also, as it is flat, no hills. Fun, tight, risk reward course. If you can hit straight, catch any piece of the smallish green and 2 putt you can conquer this place. If you wing it out there and go for everything without any course management... Could be a long day for you.
Cheers and good luck!

Never been here before until today. Walked on solo at 10 am, and was able to get on in 30 minutes. The staff was very friendly, and the practice putting green was expansive and empty, a good place to wait for my name to be called. Got paired up with a threesome who knew each other and they were really nice. We all shot from a 95 to a 115, and had a great time. Pace of play was very good, only had to wait a few minutes at the par 3s, but thats normal. The course is pretty hard, narrow fairways, big trees, lots of sand and water...but thats what makes it so pretty and challenging. There are only four par 3s on this course, so dust off your driver! Pretty flat so it was easy to walk. Would definitely come here again.

Maybe the best Muni I've ever played unless it's running slow. Stay away on weekends. Well kept, lots of trees, and decent greens. If the cart was included in the price I'd play more, but for $60 there are much better deals elsewhere. Driving range uses grass tees most of the time, making this my favorite place to practice and play 9 holes of twilight. Unfortunately it can take six hours to finish on a bad day. Still, a top three muni option in LA.
