A challenging course. Well kept. Fun to play.

Was followed by a founding member that was walking the course, playing, and walking with her dog. She made a point to tell me and my son that at this point the course was cart path only or 90 degrees, and they should have told us that in the pro shop. I responded that they did not tell us that, and that everyone else in front of us were driving to their ball . She said they shouldn't be.
I asked her why they let a dog on the course . She said she is a founding member and she is the only one that is allowed to walk her dog, and she is the only one that gets to walk also. She then states that I must not be from around here. I told her that I was and that I had played the course at least 30 times over the years.
She stated she was a founding member again. I told her I would stay on the path.
She was old, but the course opened in 1929. What a silly women! Was I supposed to bow down to her or something and recognize her and her pooch? Who lets dogs on a golf course? Ridiculous.
Quit after 9 and took the cart to the bag drop as it was right next to the 9th hole . Dude says he can keep my clubs there but I need to drive the cart back to the pro shop. Really? Asked him if he could do that. He ignored me. Guy behind me left his cart after we walked back. Place has lost its charm and customer service over the years. Would not play here again, or recommend it to any visitors.
If you get stuck waiting and there is an old lady behind you with a dog, watch yourself. She s obviously a very special woman.
