At the 2026 PGA Show, someone from Vice Golf summed up one of their most popular golf balls, Vice Drive, in six words I’d never heard to describe a golf ball: “This one blew up on TikTok.”

That description actually paints a clear picture. If Titleist Pro V1 Left Dash is the IYKYK ball, Vice Drive is the polar opposite. It’s the one you play with no fitting, no handicap range recommendation, no ball flight considerations.

Beginners, weekend warriors, and golfers who have never read a spec sheet (and never plan to) all welcome.

Our testing revealed why it earns every TikTok view: it’s long and it’s cheap.

How We Tested Vice Drive

We put the Vice Drive through our published golf ball testing protocols using the SkyTrak ST Max launch monitor. That means human swings under strict bands for swing speed, impact quality, and delivery dynamics.

To see performance from tee to green, we test driver, 7-iron, and 50-yard wedge shots with each ball.

We tested 43 golf balls in total for 2026 then translated the raw data into 1-10 scores in the categories that matter most to your game. That lets you easily see how each ball stacks up to the field.

See the complete list of every golf ball we’ve tested or dive into the full Vice Drive test data here.

It’s not hard to see why a ball like Vice Drive would blow up on TikTok. You don’t need to know anything about how it performs to see that it’s super affordable and comes in some fun color options.

Under the cover, however, it doesn’t disappoint. It’s one of the 10 longest balls of our entire 43-ball test, which in itself is enough for most people to commit. Our testing also proved it’s one of the best 2-piece balls in the iron game and it flies straighter than most balls.

Vice Drive turned average ball speed into top-tier distance. For weekend warriors and budget shoppers, that’s a green flag.

It displayed a nice high launch in our driver test (conducted at mid-90s swing speeds), which paired well with the mid-spin profile to provide a distance boost off the tee.

Our testing showed Vice Drive is good with all the full-swing clubs, and that includes approach shots into greens.

In our 7-iron test, it ranked second among 2-piece balls in Stopping Power, landing in the mid-spin category where it was joined by just one other 2-piece ball (Bridgestone e6 Soft). It peaked high and landed steep enough to hold greens consistently.

That’s 3-piece performance out of a 2-piece ball. Pay for two layers, get the performance of three? That’s value.

Wedge Control: 6.2/10

The good news when you get around the greens with Vice Drive is that it launches high. The bad news is that you’re really going to need that height, because low short game spin is the kryptonite of 2-piece balls, and Vice Drive is no exception.

Anybody who sticks with golf long enough will get to a point when a ball’s performance around the greens becomes more important than distance, accuracy and price. When you get to that point, find a different ball. Until then, Vice Drive is tough to beat.

If you buy Vice Drive for the distance and the price, its accuracy is an added bonus.

It finished in the top-third for accuracy of the 43 balls we tested, better than most at staying close to the centerline.

It’s not the ball you buy when hitting it straighter is your biggest concern, but its better-than-average accuracy is a nice perk for everyone else.

Value: 8.8/10

Vice Drive wouldn’t blow up on TikTok if it were overpriced.

At $17 a dozen in bulk, Vice Drive outperforms its price.

You have to commit to six dozen to get the lowest price, but it’s only $2 more to buy them one dozen at a time.

It’s a frictionless entry-level ball with tons of upside on the course.

Who is Vice Drive For?

Vice Drive is for the golfers who don’t read spec sheets. It’s for the weekend warriors who want a value ball that they can hit far and not worry about the ones that end up at the bottom of a pond.

Players who are grinding to get every chip inside the circle of friendship, though, should invest in a urethane-covered ball.

As one of the longest and best-value balls of 2026, Vice Drive is a great fit for beginners, high-handicappers, and slower swing speed players.
