Titleist TSi2 Driver Review
The best-known Titliest drivers are the TS drivers, which were released in 2018. They helped expand the company’s reputation beyond golf balls (they are known for their Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls.)
The TSi2 is a good choice for a mid-to-low handicapper who is looking for more distance, stability and forgiveness. This driver is also user-friendly for a newer golfer who wants premium styling and a recognized brand name.
Differences Between TS and TSi2 Driver
The TSi drivers build on the success of the TS drivers, but they are different because Titleist has applied a Research and Development process (R & D) to get feedback directly from professional golfers. Both drivers are on the USGA conforming list.
The TSi2 offers better stability and improved acoustic compared with the TS2. The loud, metallic sound at impact is gone and now the driver makes a similar sound to what a carbon fiber driver would.
PGA Players Who Use Titleist Clubs
In the last 2 years, Titleist clubs have been the most popular choice of PGA players. Some of the pro golfers using Titleist clubs include:
- Adam Scott
- Sungjae Im
- Webb Simpson
- Patrick Cantlay
- Cameron Smith
- Bernd Wiesberger
- Ian Poulter
- Lanto Griffin
- Jordan Spieth
Since the debut of the TS drivers in 2018, Titleist has become known for their drivers as well as their famous Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls.
Are Titleist TSi2 Drivers Forgiving?
Your performance is based on using the correct technique for how to hit a driver as well as the piece of equipment that you select. The TSi2 is targeted to a golfer that needs more forgiveness on the clubface. The large diamond head can make it difficult to aim correctly, which is a challenge. The TSi2 driver feels light yet powerful in your hands. Aiming with these clubs may take some practice, especially if you've been using an older driver for a while.
The TSi2 has a deeper, lower center of gravity to improve distance. The high contrast design of the clubface makes it easier to hit the center of the clubface on a consistent basis.
TSi2 Shaft Options
The TSi2 offers the SureFit hosel to customize your driver. You can use swingweights (within +/- 4g) to control CG placement and ball flight.
There are seven shaft options in total (4 standard options and 3 additional premium shafts.) The adjustments are visible without taking apart any components, which is an improvement over the TS model. Here is a list of the available shafts for the TSi2.
Four Standard shafts:
- Mitsubishi Kuro Kage
- Mitsubishi Two "Tensei" options
- Project X HZRDUS
Three Premium upgrade shafts:
- Graphite Design AD DI
- Graphite Design AD IZ
- Graphite Design AD XC

Clubface Design: ATI 425 Aerospace Aluminum
The high-contrast clubface design makes it easier to target the center of the clubface. The TSi clubface has improved aerodynamics to increase speed and distance and reduce drag, thanks to Aerospace Aluminum which is more durable than traditional alloys. Translation? You'll be hitting the ball faster, further and more accurately with a TSi2 driver.

How Much Does the Titleist TSi2 Driver Cost?
The price point is similar to that of a Callaway driver. Here, you are paying for the brand name as well as the actual quality of the product.
The price is high for a complete beginner. If you are a golfer who wants extra speed and distance (and you have the basics of golf down) then this driver would be a good investment for a long-term piece of equipment.
