Golfers have a lot of needs on the course, but just as many needs off the course. I guess you could say we’re just a needy bunch.

The thing is, even when we’re not playing golf, we’re thinking about playing golf and planning our next round of golf. That’s why everything from equipment to help us shoot our lowest scores to apparel that we look and feel great in on or off the course is a must.

Here are five products golfers simply cannot (or at least don’t want to) live without in 2025, and I’ll bet you wouldn’t have guessed most of them.

Zunnies Prescription Sunglasses for Athletes

Why Golfers Need This: These affordable prescription sunglasses are made for athletes and active lifestyles.

Golfers are constantly out in the sun and the ability to see long distances is a non-negotiable on the course.

For about the same cost as a box of premium golf balls – that’s if your insurance or FSA doesn’t cover it first – you can have prescription sunglasses made for active lifestyles. That means no shaking or wobbling when you swing.

Zunnies prescription sunglasses are incredibly lightweight and you can choose polarized or non-polarized lenses. Since polarized lenses can actually hinder depth perception (not a great thing on the golf course), I always prefer non-polarized lenses for golf.

When you think about it – and check out the styles – these prescription sunglasses are really a no-brainer for those of us with less-than-perfect vision.

Why Golfers Need This: For results that will show on and off the course, this science-based fitness and nutrition app is way better for strength and weight loss than going it alone.

Fitness, strength, and nutrition are so interconnected that it just makes sense there would be an app that addresses all three simultaneously. Caliber, the science-based training app that delivers 1-to-1 coaching and a personalized plan that incorporates all three, is one of the best solutions for getting your overall fitness up to par.

For golfers looking to play their best, improving fitness is a great way to do it. Improved core strength is one of the quickest ways to eliminate back pain from golf, and improving lower and upper body strength can lead to distance gains. Meanwhile, over an 18-hole round of golf, losing weight and improving cardio fitness is the difference between limping to the finish and finishing strong.

Caliber users enjoy 34% faster progress than people who go it alone, and the average Caliber member reaches at least a 20% body composition improvement in their first three months. That’s because, in addition to providing a plan for success, Caliber’s coaches, combined with the ability to track progress in the app, keep you motivated and accountable, resulting in greater consistency throughout the program.

Those are some serious gains.

Even if it’s true, it’s not exactly the best message to send.

These four-way stretch Jetsetter pants from Jack Archer perfect for the course, but they don’t look like you bought them from the pro shop.

They work with pretty much any outfit, so you can easily wear them to the office without being called out, then straight to the course, and even to the bar for drinks afterwards.

All day comfort with versatile style, without looking like you’d rather be somewhere else. That’s a win-win.

    Permission given by L.A.B Golf

Why Golfers Need This: LAB Golf is king of the zero-torque putter category, and their latest release, the Adam-Scott-insipred OZ.1 & OZ.1i, is arguably its best-looking yet.

How good are LAB putters? Good enough to be the top-selling putter at the top brand-agnostic club-fitting company in the U.S. two years in a row. And that was before LAB dropped its OZ.1 and OZ.1i putters, perhaps the best-looking LAB putters to date.

Inspired by Adam Scott, the half-moon-shaped LAB putter still boasts all the zero-torque, point-and-shoot benefits of any LAB putter.

The shape is sure to appease many LAB holdouts, and the option to go with the stainless steel insert (OZ.1i) or the one-piece, all-aluminum version (OZ.1) to get your preferred feel and sound only adds to the demand of these LAB OZ.1 putters.
