Our Impression
We haven’t tested the Eclipse E-1.5 yet, but Sun Mountain’s reputation for strong and convenient golf bags is one of the best in the game.
For golfers who prioritize a light, efficient walk and dependable construction over bargain pricing, the E-1.5 should be near the top of the list.
The minimalist look, comprised of small logos and windbreaker-type fabric, appeals more to practical players than those who prefer bold style.
Most ultra-light bags come with tradeoffs. Golfers shopping in this category often must accept fewer pockets, less-than-14-club capacity, or convenience compromises. However, the Eclipse E-1.5 seems to deliver convenience without sacrifice.
