Tested & Reviewed: Evnroll Putters
Evnroll putters may not have the brand-recognition of Scotty Cameron or Bettinardi, but they often cost just as much. The question is, do Evnroll putters compete with the top premium putters in the industry? To give you a definitive answer, we put six different Evnroll Classic putters to the test. Here is our unbiased review of Evnroll putters, and which golfers benefit most from the-top end investment.
Spoiler Alert: Evnroll Putters Verdict
We’ll say it early and often, Evnroll makes fantastic putters that any serious golfer should consider adding to their golf bag.
We tested the Evnroll ER1.2, ER2, ER5, ER7, ER8.3 and ER10 putters. Given the premium materials and craftsmanship that go into every Evnroll putter, the price, usually between $350-$400, is fair. Each Evnroll putter feels like a rare, boutique-style putter. There's no cookie-cutter, mass-produced vibe with these flat sticks. Dare we say Evnroll putters are on par with Bettinardi, and better feeling than most Scotty Cameron models? Yes, we dare.
Evnroll putters are best suited in the bags of players who can appreciate a great putter. The player who wants a game-changing putter that they will also care for should take a long, hard look at Evnroll.
Any golfer is free to spend their money however they'd like, but we don't necessarily recommend Evnroll putters for beginners or purely recreational players, as those players are less likely to realize the benefits of the premium price tag.
The bottom line is Evnroll makes a solid putter that is well worth your time to demo, and well worth your money once you realize how sweet they are.
The success of Evnroll can be directly linked to the company's founder, Guerin Rife, formerly of Odyssey and Rife Putters. He launched Evnroll in 2016, and the premium putter line has taken off. It helps when your background includes being one of the biggest innovators in golf equipment over the past few decades.

Evnroll Putters Lineup
We put the Evnroll ER1.2, ER2, ER5, ER7, ER8.3 and ER10 putters through rigorous testing. To learn exactly how Evnroll putters perform in every situation, we hit putts of every length: shorties, mid-range, and long lag putts. We hit uphill, downhill and sidehill putts. We hit putts from off the green, and even judged forgiveness by intentionally hitting putts off the toe and heel. Here's how each putter performed, and which golfers each model suits best.
Evnroll ER1.2
The Evnroll ER1.2 putter warms the hearts of all golf purists. It’s an Anser-style blade that has a traditional appearance, but once you roll a few putts, you realize it doesn’t feel like any blade you’ve used before. This plumber’s neck model is so soft at impact and satisfies your touch, see, and hear senses all in one stroke. The edges are rounded to perfection and its two alignment dimples are subtle, yet effective.
Best for: Traditional players who won’t stray from blade style putters.

Evnroll ER2
A toe-weighted flange blade, we were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed the Evnroll ER2. This wider, extended blade model rides the line between blade and mallet to perfection. As mallet players ourselves, we were impressed with how the ER2 felt, both over shorter putts and from lag distances. It was also a bit more forgiving than the ER1.2, which we’ll take all day.
Best for: Players who toe the line between blades and mallets.

Lenth Options | 33-inches, 34-inches, 35-inches |
Stock Grip | TourTac White |

Evnroll ER5
Be still, our hearts. The Evnroll ER5 is, in our opinion, the superior model of the entire Evnroll family. This winged model might look similar to putters from other manufacturers, but believe us, nothing else compares.
First, it sets up to the ball easily and instills confidence. Second, the weighting is darn near perfect. Take it back, and the putter does the rest. We loved how forgiving it was, even on our intentional misses to the toe and heel, it still performed well. Trust us, you have to try it to fully understand how great this putter is.
Best for: Anyone who needs alignment help or distance control.

Lenth Options | 33-inches, 34-inches, 35-inches |

Evnroll ER7
The Evnroll ER7 is a full mallet, similar to other putters Guerin Rife has previously created. With its two-dimple alignment and three bold white lines, setting up to the ball with the ER7 is effortless. We took the ER7 off of the green for a little Texas Wedge testing, and it passed with flying colors. This is a versatile putter that even traditional blade lovers can appreciate.
Best for: Players who want a versatile mallet for around the green.

Evnroll ER8.3
The ER8.3 putter is a half mallet, flow neck putter. If this is your style, the standout feature of the ER8.3 is that it's more compact than an Odyssey #7, for example. We definitely like the smaller profile and were very impressed by its mid-range accuracy.
Best for: Players with moderate to high arc in their putting stroke.

Evnroll ER10
The Evnroll ER10 is definitely the wild sibling in the Evnroll Classics family of putters. This modern mallet design has an oversize appearance and a high MOI. The chrome and black color combination is sleek and doesn’t distract you from the job at hand, like some newer mallets do. This was another putter that excelled from inside 10 feet and was basically automatic inside five feet.
Best for: Straight back, straight through strokes and for those who like a touch of modern.

Evnroll Putters Review
Overall, we're mightily impressed by all the Evnroll putters we tested. Enough to make us rethink our own bag. From a feel and sound standpoint, Evnroll was right there with Toulon Design and Bettinardi, two brands we hold in high regard.
Any serious player will say that the person using the putter is a major factor in performance, and we agree. We wouldn’t say our putting skills are anywhere near scratch, but we can say that these Evnroll putters helped our putting performance. Specifically, the ER5 and ER10 had us feeling like we couldn’t miss.
The one area where Evnroll will fall short with many shoppers is price. Of the six models we tested, the lowest price point was $360. If you’re on the hunt for the best value putter, we respect that. You just won’t find it with Evnroll. These are premium putters for serious players, so a premium price tag comes with the territory.
Left-Handed Evnroll Putters
For all of you left-handed golfers out there, Evnroll didn’t forget about you. The ER2, ER5, ER7, and ER10 models are all available in lefty, with the potential for more models in the future.
Used Evnroll Putters
You’ve read our review, you’re all-in on Evnroll, but you’d prefer to try a used model. That's not a bad idea.
First and foremost, make sure you’re buying from a trustworthy seller. If you’re buying from eBay, do your research on the seller. If you’re buying pre-owned from a retailer, be sure to check it up and down to make sure it’s in great shape. The main thing to keep in mind is that Evnroll putters are made from a softer metal, so they can blemish easily. Be sure to investigate the putter face and specifically the grooves to make sure it still rolls the rock with accuracy.
As always, when you're buying golf equipment from sellers or sites you're not familiar with, if the price seems too good to be true, it probably is.
The Bottom Line: Great Putters for Premium Shoppers
We hope that our review showcases our feelings about Evnroll putters accurately. In case there’s any confusion, we love these putters. The look and feel of each model are unique, yet uniform. Are they expensive? Yes. Could you be investing in a putter for life? Also, yes.
