About Jane Blalock

Jane Blalock, a Cambridge, Massachusetts native, joined the LPGA Tour in 1969 and built one of the most decorated careers in the sport's history, capturing multiple tour titles before retiring from competitive play in 1985. She still holds the professional golf record — across both the men's and women's tours — for playing 299 consecutive tournaments without missing a cut, and she's a member of the Legends Hall of Fame. Rather than step away from golf, Blalock founded JBC Golf, Inc. in 1990, a Boston-based firm that builds golf sponsorships and marketing programs for Fortune 500 companies. In 2001 she launched what is now known as The Legends Tour, the LPGA's official senior circuit for players 45 and older, and continues to serve as its CEO. She also created and leads the KPMG Women's PGA Championship Golf Clinics, a three-decade-old program that brings professional instruction to women golfers nationwide.
