The greens were fast, sloped, and undunlating but putted well. The tee boxes were so hard you needed a sledge to get a tee in the ground. Lots of maintenance underway around the course and it needs it - appears to be suffering from years of neglect. Lots of steep hills and a number of blind tee shots. Green fees are excesive given the overall condition of the course.
The course is well priced, allowing non-members to golf anytime holding multiple tournaments inviting anyone to play. Also the beautiful scenery allows players to have a great game of golf in bennington with a view of the monument in every shot. The bunkers are good sized and well maintained as well as the fairaway and greens. This is a fun enjoyable round of golf! Come play
