This course is in pretty horrible shape, played 9 holes yesterday. Not very well maintained this summer. Most of the greens are bad, cracked edges, brown and filled with holes and very slow (considering they're all fried). Fairways aren't in great shape either, browned, crabgrass and thin grass with insect mounds in some areas. I'd say a good half the course is tough to judge if you've never been there before. Easy to lose your ball. A lot of the holes you're shooting uphill from the teebox (if you can call them that, they're just squarish patches of crabgrass) and you can't usually see the pin. Lot of horseflies, bugs and wasp killers flying everywhere, bring bugspray for sure, I got bit a few times. Over-priced for what it is, but ok if you're looking for an uncrowded, convenient and quick practice round in the Coventry area.

Narrow fairways nestled in a forest of pine trees. A decent tee shot in the fairways is needed to get a good score. Little room for error off the fairways, as the those areas tend to slope with trees, roots, dirt etc. You can easily lose your ball. The course has its share of steep hills. I suggest a cart if your not use to walking. Can be swampy in areas, which attracts bugs, so bug spray is needed. The tees are in fair to average condition, with the grass being lumpy and uneven. The greens are pretty decent. I paid $15 for 9 holes during the week, which is not a real deal, but $23 for 18 holes is well worth it.

NICE LITTLE COURSE TO PLAY A QUICK INEXPENSIVE 9 HOLES. USUALLY NOT VERY CROWDED, U CAN GET OUT QUICK WITHOUT A TEE TIME. TENDS TO BE VERY WET IN SPRING. SMALL WELL MAINTAINED GREENS, PUT VERY TRUE. COURSE IS SHORT EVEN FROM THE TIPS BUT THERE ARE HOLES TO USE driver. FRIENDLY STAFF BUT NOT MUCH IN THE WAY OF AMENITIES. BIGGEST COMPLAINT IS THE LACK OF YARDAGE MARKERS. THE FIRST FEW TIMES YOU PLAY UNLESS YOU CARRY A range finder YOU ARE GUESSING AT YARDAGE AND CLUB SELECTION.
