Meadowbrook was a no frills golf experience but it is no longer in operation.

Meadow Brook is nothing more than a place to dust off the clubs after all the snow melts from the winter. It's a short course, with 6 of the nine holes being of the executive variety. Although it's maintained to average to slightly below average standards the fall leaves make any shot, including ones on the fairway, an adventure to find. Even average courses rid some of the leaves. Meadow Brook isn't challenging and because of the length or lack there of, you will find many players that play once a year so pace of play can be extremely slow. The price of $20 to walk twilight fall rate may sound appealing, but other course in the area like Center Square offer 18 holes, better maintainance, nicer scenery, and provides an overall nicer quality course for the same price. $20 is the fall rate too, which is the absolute most this course is worth; I'd hate to see what a more pricey peak rate or summer rate would be. The greens are fair, roll true but are somewhat slow. The clubhouse, unfortunately, is it's greatest attribute. It's small and snug in the woods with a few televisions, a nice place to finish the round, drink a cold one, and watch the end of some football games. They have logo balls, a plus for the collector like myself. Otherwise, however, not a great place to play. Overall rating C-
