golfed on July 8, 2023, course was in very nice shape. some of the holes are very close and one of the guys in my foursome got hit on the shin by someone's errant shot. We had multiple calls of "FOUR" during the front nine. The back nine is more challenging. Also, the Limrick Power plant spews a huge steam cloud. That day it was very clear out, and the cloud swung directly over our head and it actually was "raining" from the steam cloud on us for part of the time. Overall I enjoyed the course and would recommend it.

Played this course today for the first time in 4 years and I must say there has been a great improvement since last time. The fairways and greens are good shape butthe tee boxes need some care. The price was right. Senior rate was $27 with a cart.

From what I understand there is a new partner on board and from what I have seen there has been ongoing work to improve the condition of the course. I generally tee off around 7:00AM and the guys are out mowing or trimming trees. No, it is not a country club but it is a public course that is making an effort and for that and the very friendly staff I say give it a try. 10, 11, and 12 are a challenge. A month and a half later than the previous post (6/12/09). They are still working hard at improving the course. 10,11,& 12 are still a challenge. Stop in to the Sand Trap have a cup of coffee before your round. You will find a nice group of folks.

Early May, 2011 Almost all new grounds crew with a new head grounds keeper. Working hard at catching up from some extended rainy weather. I have chatted with them about some of their plans and it sounds like a real effort is being made and planned. Food is great and the staff is very friendly.

June 2012. New management and improvements are happening. Greens are better than they have been in a few years. The fairways are greatly improved. A pro shop is soon to be in place. There is now a true Director of Golf on staff. Things are really looking up.

Sept 2012. Greens are now in great shape. Dead trees coming down. Clean up and fix up around the Sandtrap. Very friendly staff. And, they are still working at improvements.

Poorly maintained. People from nearby apartments were walking their dogs on the course while people were playing.

This course was a decent cheap course but is going downhill fast. Every time I go, it's in worse condition. Unless they turn things around, I won't be coming back.
