Aston Oaks is one of my favorite courses in the Greater Cincinnati area. Every hole offers something different and the layout is very scenic. Do not expect to walk here as you may die trying. The course has been in very good shape over the past couple years. It is really growing into its own. Great GPS features in your carts that allows for tournament style scoring for everyone in your outing. A great feature of the layout is the ability to have different options off the tee. Every Par 4 & 5 may or may not be driver so it makes you think. Make sure to stop and get their Buffalo Wings after the round. Best in Cincinnati.
I played the day after Thanksgiving in town visiting family. Loved the layout. The course was in great shape for this time of year. Played 3 other courses while in town this was by far my favorite.
Played 10/11/10 DON'T waste your time or money on this course. Conditions and upkeep were non-existant...Pass by here and find anywhere else because this is probably not what Nicklaus Design would want their name on. Any place else would be better than here. What you see on the website is nothing like what you will find off the first tee.
The course has a great clubhouse and the scenery is great....wildlife and natural forest unfortunately this doesn't match the course that is very very ran down with greens that appear to have no regular maintenance other than a daily mowing....it really is sad too b/c the layout and scenery could combine to make this course one of the best in the area.....unfortunately the maintenance is the only thing holding this course back....
This course has a great layout but the owner refuses to put any money into the course. The course condition is awful!!
