Ford Hill is nice because you can usually play without a tee time. The 4 nine hole tracks spread people out. I like the White. The first hole is a bit odd. I usually go with a high 140-150 yard shot over the trees. Most of the holes are wide open, and makes you want to swing away. However, miss right on hole two, and your ball will roll away into the trees. The green on hole 3 is tricky. Hole 4, par 5, is reachable but dont hit it thin, I usually leave my second shot a little short. This course isn't a Conklin or Hiawatha, but they don't charge those high rates either, and every time I have shown up without a scheduled tee time, I have gotten on. I enjoy playing at Ford Hill.
