This course has gone rocketing down hill lately. All the greens are either , diseased, dead, or on their way. They have no sprinkler system so the recent heat wave
has made it rock hard. I would say the fairway grass is dying, but most of the fairways are weeds and bare spots anyway. To fight the heat they stopped cutting their greens so now they have furry spots mixed with dead bald spots. This course is an embarrassment to Central New York. Avoid this course at all costs. Area courses like Northern Pines and Roques Roost are much better for the same money.

For some reason I love this course. I know its not awesome but the new owners are working to make it better. I like that it one of those rare courses that a beginner and a polished player can play together. Its very wide open for the beginner and has some long holes where a good player can grip it and rip it. I like to take friends who dont play very often there. Its a very laid back atmosphere. A warning to the polished player that wants a great course to play.... this aint it. Its not ready yet but I would see someday it being very nice. The food is good and the people are nice. Also dont be a wimp and go fro the green on 3
