Played the course over 7 times this year with a foursome. Best I ever seen the course condition wise, Greens are in top shape and also fairways. Tee boxes are a little shaky but are decent. I play private clubs all the time, Montclair, Echo Lake etc. And this place has a great layout and is a hidden gem. Superintendent Bret and staff keep course in great shape. Only thing bad about this place is Brett is a Titans fan....Great place...Corleone
Highpoint has quickly become one of my favorite courses since the new ownership took over. Staff and management is friendly and helpful, the condition of the course has constantly improved since spring, and you can't beat the green fees for this quality. This is now my go-to course for the 2012 season.I would like to see a little expansion in the pro shop as they only have apparel, and refreshments plus those all-important "oh yeah I forgot to pick up ***" items like balls, tees, divot tools, etc.
Come back course of the year. If you haven't played it you're missing a great opportunity. Great greens fee, nearly execellent conditions (wait one more week). This is a terrific course that will be enjoyed by every skill level.Forget about the past negative reviews, new owners, new direction, you have to visit this course.
This course was closed down for a while, and since they have opened up again, a lot of work has been done. The greens are well mowed and kept under control. Also since they opened, I have not heard anything bad about High Point Golf Club, the people are very nice and helpful. The prices are very reasonable and I would recommend this course to anyone.
