A hilly, varied terrain, plenty of hazards, lots of wetlands/forest, course which is in great condition w/fast, brautiful greens! It's a challenge for anyone but if you're a beginner it'll probably either upset you or aid in making you a better golfer! Beginners don't NOT play just because it's challenging... you will have a great time here even if you're not a scratch golfer!

I play here apprx 3 times per wk & love this course! I'm new to golf but LCC has helped in improving my game - a lot! My handicap has dropped 5 pts this summer!

The people are great people (Bill Sr. & Bill Jr.)... always very friendly, helpful, and often on site. Not like a big Corp. course, is owned by Bill Sr. who knows numerous players by name - he takes the time to get to know you a bit! Always has great advice on how one can improve game! Bottom line... very friendly, great bunch of people at a well maintained, beautiful course...!! Go play a round & I'd bet you'll enjoy the course and friendly atmosphere at LCC...!!

Tough but fair course with well kept greens. Accuracy is a must with all clubs in the bag. Course is usually in great shape, a lot of potential as well.

This is a pleasant surprise. Very reasonable rates so I expected a hackers course, but instead found a beautiful maintained New England course with lots of character and charm. This is not an easy course, so I suspect theses that have rated it poorly had a difficult round. It is not exactly target golf, but not an open links course either. Plenty of places to get into trouble and once you know the course it is reasonable to stay out of trouble as well. If you are a weak player I don't think it is fair to rate a course like this poor because you had trouble. I was pleased with the conditions of the course, the greens were near perfect and the sand was true sand, not a gravel pit. Take a cart there are plenty of hills to wear you down.
