Tee off a little late for a 3:24 tee time. Had to wait on cart to become available. Great Sunday afternoon with our foursome. Lost a few balls in a heavy short rough off the fairway. Was on hole fourteen at 7:00 pm with an hour-plus left of daylight. Was told we had to be off the course in 25 min because they closed at 7:30. I have never had to quit a round of golf because the course was being closed an hour before sunset. Finished the 15 hole and headed back to clubhouse. Left course feeling bitter about not completing 18 holes. Felt cheated. Paid for 18, played 15. When we teed off we were not made aware of an early closure. Not Professional by the clubhouse at all. Don’t think I will ever play Hillcrest again.
