This was the first course I played since the birth of my daughter 4 years ago. It was a great experience. The course is well-maintained. It did have some construction taking place in the near neighborhood where a homeowner was adding a huge retaining wall. They were also removing a number of trees durng the time I was there.

The course itself was beautiful. If you like the beach, there is plenty of sand. If you like the water, you are out of luck as there are only a couple of water holes. If you hit your driver fairly straight, you are pretty safe off the tee. The approach is the booger. The pin placement, when I played, was fairly easy and the greens were well-kept. This is not really a course where you will lose many balls and the fairways are kept in a manner that allows for a decent iron game.

Even though this is a private course, if you have the opportunity to play it, you will enjoy it (unless your sand game stinks).
