I have a lot of very fond memories of this course. I played this course in the 1980s and 1990s. I was a favorite of mine. Back then New Orleans did not have many public courses. I lived in kenner and drove across the lake to play it...just a nice day. 18 was changed in the early 90s....went to a "U" shape..or a broken dogleg....17 was a beautiful hole, although a small green. Glad to see it is still around...any day on a golf course is still better than a good day at work!
A fun course. The crew is laid back no troubles. Not a lot of sand but plenty of water in the wrong places and I mean that in a good way. I play here maybe once a month and enjoy my rounds. There are some tough holes #14&& #18 are a challenge every time.
