Best course I have played in Hawaii!!!! With Military rate on a sunday $40 and a free case of balls..... for a high handicaper you will need them for the carrys on the back 9. My handicap is 16 usally shoot high 80s on all the courses I play in Hawaii and shot an 96 ans was really happy as I walked off the 18th green which I bogeyed after taking a drop from my noncarried over the trench T shot. You have to walk very slow off of the greens after you putt so you can take a look at all the views....its great!!!! I rated this a 10 on my courses even though my partners said they would never play it again because they shot in the 100s HAHAHA and they have the same mid 80s handicap as me.

pricey course but the views make up for it. RIDICULOUSLY BEAUTIFUL. Seeing the mountains on every hole is amazing. the landscaping and layout of every hole was fantastic. Had to play the tips. it played long but not absurdly long. there are some tough carries. the course is good on telling you how much to hit to the hazards (displayed on the cart path) I played the front 9 by myself then met up with a 3some on the back where it slowed a bit. only lost a few balls. course was in great shape. probaly wouldnt play it again even though i will never forget it.

3rd hardest in the world? And you don't want to play from the tips? Why? The minimum requirement from the tips is to be able to force carry 220 yds+. Other than that, who cares if you score high? I too, lost over a dozen balls. Some of the best scenes on the course comes from playing from the tips! That is enough reason to play from the tips. Great time. Bring a rain coat. We got rain delayed here and there. One of the weirdest thing. You stop play for a few minutes and then you continue once the rain passes. Pretty cool. Oh, and watch out for your food. The native critters will eat your food that you leave on the cart. They are sneaky! A rather odd looking creature! My next stop...Turtle Bay!
