New Update: Jim will no longer be in the pro shop this will be a huge improvement for the life of Lake point. The course is in much better shape and it was fertilized this year and yes it is green and you have great turf in the fairways to hit out of.
I feel sorry for you if you travel to play at this course. It is like playing in the backyard. No defined fairways; sticks, roots, rocks, branches everywhere. No yardage posts. Fairways not maintained (oh wait, where are the fairways?) Rude and unfriendly staff. If you are camping at the state park, go ahead and try it. Otherwise, stay home.
